Culling Order Recommendations Report

Cows marked Do Not Breed typically remain in the herd while their production levels are high enough; however, they are removed once their production drops and they are no longer valuable.

Goal: Manage culling times based on profitability (IOF) for cows listed as 'Not-for-insemination'/ Do not breed.Use the weekly IOF data for all 'Not for Insemination'/'Do not breed cows' to determine the optimum time to cull these cows from the herd. The report allows you to track the cows' profitability and remove them once it drops below a minimal threshold.

Cows included in the report: Cows with Milk status, listed as 'Not for Insemination'.

Use the Culling Order Recommendations report to identify and select the lowest performing cows (highlighted in red) to be removed from the herd this week based on the IOF data.

Column	Description
Cow	Displays cow number.
Registration no.	Displays international registration number.
Grp.	Displays the cow's group number to which she belongs.
DIM	Displays the number of Days in Milk in the current lactation.
Lact. No.	Displays the cow's current lactation number.
Previous week milk	Displays the cow's average weekly milk yield for the previous week.
Weekly Milk	Displays the cow's average weekly milk yield.
Previous Week EnCM	Displays the cow's average weekly EnCM for the for the previous week.
Weekly EnCM	Displays the cow's average weekly EnCM.
Previous week DMI	Displays the average weekly DMI (weight) for the previous week.
Weekly DMI	Displays the average weekly DMI for the current DIM range.
Milk	Displays the cow's weekly average milk yield for the selected DIM range.
Feed Efficiency	Displays the cow's average weekly FE.
Income over Feed	Displays the average weekly IOF.
